Industrial Electronics Technician


Webcrafters, Inc. a Madison area book manufacturing plant is looking to fill a full-time Industrial Electronics Technician position. Candidates would be working alongside Mechanical staff on Printing Press equipment, Book Binding equipment, and other various projects and repair work associated with a manufacturing plant.



  • Able to read electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, manuals and understand the functionality of the various electrical components.
  • Has a working knowledge of the principles of relay logic and control circuits and is able to troubleshoot and maintain components.
  • Understands the workings of and is able to effectively trouble shoot and maintain programmable logic controllers (PLCs).
  • Can successfully use testing equipment to diagnose issues with electrical components.
  • Understands the workings of and is able to effectively trouble shoot AC/DC motor controls.



  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Two (2) or more years of field experience preferred
  • Intermediate Math and Computer Skills
  • Associate’s degree in Industrial Electronics preferred. Webcrafters has a tuition reimbursement program and we are willing to work with a student’s schedule looking to finish the Industrial Electronics program
  • Valid Driver’s License
  • Demonstrated reliability and punctuality, work effectively in a team/crew environment, adherence to all safety regulations and operating procedures

Physical Requirements

  • Must be able to lift and carry weights up to 50 pounds at varying frequencies
  • Position works in indoor and outdoor environments with varying noise levels
  • Ability to perform tasks requiring bending, stooping, standing, climbing, and twisting and occasionally working from elevated platforms or scissor lifts


Starting pay is based on experience and level of training. After training, this may be a night shift position. Webcrafters provides healthcare, dental, vision, life insurance, 401K benefits and paid time off.







Manufacturing positions

Webcrafters, Inc. is looking for temporary employees (April/May through August) to work in our Bindery and Web press departments at our Fordem Ave and Westport plants. These are temporary full time positions on any of our three shifts (M- F 7 a.m. – 3 p.m.; M-F 3 p.m. – 11 p.m., and S-Th. 11 p.m. – 7 a.m.).  Overtime on weekends is anticipated.  Training is provided.

  • Be able to handle working with large machines in a manufacturing environment
  • Be able to stand on your feet for 8 hours
